Now the stars have SurfShelfs to use in their favorite gym!
I was recently contacted by Joanna Fiore, celebrity trainer and CEO of the Platinum Sports and Wellness Center in Calabasas CA asking us to equip their treadmills, elliptical trainers and exercise bikes with SurfShelfs for their clientele.
And if you go to Platinum’s website, you’ll see that Joanna has quite the clientele including Kim Kardashian from Keeping up with the Kardashians, Matt Dillon, Vanessa and Angela Simmons from MTV’s Run’s House and Ernie Hudson to name a few.
In fact, episodes of Keeping up with the Kardashians and Run’s House have been filmed at the Platinum health club.

The Platinum Sports and Wellness Center is absolutely beautiful. From the Venetian walls to the sculptures and artwork that flow throughout the space, this gym feels more like a spa than an exercise facility. In addition to the personal trainers, the kickboxing ring, the rows of the exercise machines and all the weights you need to get a great workout, they also have a massage therapist, an esthetician, a chiropractor and a nutritionist.
And now it has SurfShelfs too! Plus broadband wireless Internet of course. If I lived closer I would be hanging out there every day writing my blog while using their SurfShelfs.
So next time you’re in Calabasas, if you need a workout and you forgot to bring your SurfShelf with you, have no fear… the Platinum Sports and Wellness Center will take care of you. They have everything you need. You may even see a celebrity or two…
